We have various events, classes, and social times to encourage men to understand and live out the gospel as it pertains to their roles and responsibilities in the family and in the church. New City Church Children's Ministry

Our Philosophy
Thank you for allowing us to take care of your wonderful children while you enjoy worship service. Jesus loves kids and so does New City Church! We believe children can learn deep spiritual truths at a young age. Our childrens' fellowship and worship includes a Bible lesson and accompanying activities that reinforce the story and the Scripture for the day.
God has called parents to raise their children in the ways and truths of God. We believe that parents are primarily responsible for the spiritual nurturing of their children. As parents shepherd their children through Scripture, our ministry reinforces their teaching. We are committed to equipping parents on how to nurture and teach their children in the truths and ways of the Lord.
Our children enjoy fun music, laughter and plenty of chatter every Sunday. We believe you can have fun and learn at the same time!
Our toddlers learn the vocabulary of faith. Our preschoolers learn that God keeps his promises. And our elementary-aged children learn to trust, obey and worship God.
Please check your child in at the children’s welcome desk prior to the service. Check-in begins at 9:15am. If you are new to New City please fill out our welcome card at the desk. This will help us with allergy information as well as safety and security measures.
We will comfort your child if goodbyes are difficult. If your nursery or preschool age child cannot be comforted we will come get you after 10 minutes. Please notify our children’s ministry staff if you have any additional needs or requests.
Children are welcome to worship in the main service at any time. We will have a short break towards the end of service to allow time for parents to check their children out of children’s church. The parents will bring their children into the main service to collectively worship together through music and communion.
What’s Happen’ in City Kids?
New City Toddlers
Toddlers are introduced to basic concepts of what Christ has done for his people in a way that they can grasp.
New City Preschoolers
Preschoolers learn through exploration of the Bible from creation to the early church. They discover that God calls his people to himself through Christ and wants them to trust and follow him.
New City Elementary Kids
Elementary aged kids learn interactively by discovering how to enjoy God forever by focusing on biblical themes of worship, grace in the law, missions and Christian service.
