Truth—There is a staggering lack of emphasis in the church of knowing and applying God’s Word.  New City Church will boldly, relevantly, unapologetically, and convincingly understand and apply the whole counsel of God.  The truth of Scripture points to the basic need of all humanity to see God in His Word as the center of all existence and all purpose in life.

Transformation—When a person is exposed to the truth of Scripture it invariably leads to transformation in the heart of the person.  This transformation leads to the point of all human life which is to bring glory to God in all things. 

Missional Living--American Christians have bought into the mindset that their “religion” is separate from their public life.  The transformed believer has been called to unapologetically and humbly infiltrate all areas of life and culture with the Gospel.  This means they live what they learn in Scripture in view of and for the service of those around them.

Community--God exists in perfect community – Father, Son, Holy Spirit.  At the core of our church we will seek to build authentic community and practice hospitality where people experience encouragement, accountability, fellowship, and challenge to continue to live “on mission” for the glory of God.

Gospel-Centered Families--God has created the family to be a “little” church within the church.  Men have the responsibility to lead and pastor their families well so the Gospel may go forward in future generations.  Adam abdicated this responsibility and literally all hell broke loose.  We value the roles and responsibilities God has given men and women in the home and in their communities and will seek to strengthen this understanding and practice for the glory of God.
